I can not say enough about my experience at Family Dentistry. Everyone from the office staff, receptionist Jill, dental assistant Lisa, and Dr. Phillips were kind, caring, and compassionate. I felt like I was family. They cater to cowards. I was not looking forward to having the dental work I needed. My visit was excellent. The dental assistant Lisa actually noticed and alerted the dentist to a problem not related to the procedure I was having. They both were so gentle, making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. (I love they have a bumper guard to help keep your mouth open). They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was pain-free. I would highly recommend everyone I had contact with. Thank you to each one of you for caring!

The staff was so sweet and welcoming. They took exceptional care when taking the X-rays on a very anxious patient! Every thing was explained and a treatment plan made that fit our request. They scheduled the next appointment and told us the process of completing treatment! It was a great first time experience for us!

I have been a patient at Family Dentistry of Knoxville for many years now and cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Dr Philips is extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional in a calm and laid back way. All the staff in the office are patient, personable and great to know and interact with. This creates a welcoming and relaxed environment, which is very important for a dentist’s office! I also appreciate the fact they seem to have the latest technology available. An excellent place for all your dental needs!

Absolutely wonderful here! I hate going to the dentist and it gives me such anxiety but I have been treated with nothing but kindness! The ladies at the front are super helpful and any referral to other specialist they have taken care of! They are so friendly and willing to help and the dentist explains everything in a way that makes it so easy for you to understand! Will be recommending everyone to come here

Having had considerable and painful dental experiences as a child, I had been putting off cleanings and treatments as an adult for far too long before I found the Family Dentistry of Knoxville. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, and have worked with me to overcome some of my fears while getting the treatment I came to need. I also really appreciate that they have their in-house insurance so I don’t have to worry about submitting claims to third party companies. Very highly recommended!

I have a phobia of the dentist, and this office has taken every step to make me feel comfortable. The front desk staff is so warm and welcoming, and the dental staff is knowledgeable and takes measures to ensure you’re doing okay during procedures. They don’t judge or shame you like some other dentist I’ve visited. They simply want to help! Can’t recommend this office enough, and I am so glad I found them!

The front office staff was amazing!!! The dentist himself was super nice and educated. BUT OVERALL the dental hygienist was the most sweetest, respectful, caring hygienist I have met!!! I have high anxiety with dental work and she made me feel comfortable!!!

First experience and the people at the front were very friendly and open about the experience. The tech was thorough and I was in and out with no hassle. The doctor created a treatment plan and the people up front ran estimates for everything based on my insurance. Overall very good experience.

Fantastic work!!! Amazing people!!!! Been going since I was young. Teeth have always been tookin care of and I am very educated on how to take care of them at home. Love this place love the people. It truly is like having a second family here.

Very attentive to the comfort of the patient. Very friendly. We’ve even brought the kids here over the pediatric dentist because of the level of care. Highly recommend.
